WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE & GROW
  • This Marketing role, as a Product Manager, will define, develop, and monitor the product, channel and marketing strategy for all product ranges. This will include price positioning, margin expectations, sales performance and product lifecycle review.
  • The position will launch innovative new products to the market, including channel focus and nurturing through the product lifecycle, and you will develop initiatives to drive sales growth and address underperforming SKU’s.
  • The role will regularly undertake sales performance analysis by SKU, range, channel, customer and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • You will determine USP and key selling features to help position products in the market for the marketing team to execute against and work with marketing and design departments for packaging design development.
  • You will liaise with suppliers to get commercialised products in a timely manner to launch and lead infield product trials for product realisation and optimisation, along with assisting the clinical education and sales teams as an infield product training expert.
WHAT EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • University qualifications in business, science or healthcare.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in the medical device industry and be prepared to do whatever it takes to make the role and your team successful, as they will do for you. Ideally you will have product knowledge in the healthcare sector, in particular medical and surgical consumables.
  • You need to have drive and ambition and be able to step up and OWN this function. You will not be afraid to make mistakes and must leverage your experience and be hands on.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle,  with product development experience.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID with full Australian working rights.
